SCHOOL PROJECT
Toubakolong, Gambia, is a village on the North bank of the River Gambia and the
nearest nursery school is 5KM away. You can only get to the school along a dirt
track road. No children under the age of 7 attend this school due to the
distance as it a long walk for such young children.
OKgambia are proud to be currently sponsoring the construction of a school with
3 classrooms for children up to the age of 5 in Toubakolong. There are
currently 110 5 - 7 year old children on the books to attend.
OKgambia have a number of projects coming up including the construction of a new
primary school and a health care centre.
